We understand technology, work with it and thrive in it.  We also appreciate what IT can do to help small and midsize businesses, schools, and universities operate more productively and grow.  This is why we find it so distressing when we see people unknowingly walk away from increased efficiency, work flow and profitability.  They fail to take advantage of available solutions, or don't enjoy the value of the systems they already have in place.  Sometimes people feel that they are pigeon-holed in their current solutions or method of technology support.  Helping clients realize their full potential and get their total dollars' worth from their technology is what NittanyIT is all about.

NittanyIT, Nittany Consulting Group Inc. was established in 2002 and our founding partner was one of the pioneers by starting the first Internet Service Provider in central Pennsylvania, back when no one knew what the internet was, email, or web pages.  It was his vision and drive that brings all of the drive and technology to NittanyIT and to our clients.

We accomplish this mission in a variety of ways.  We offer a comprehensive and unique support-services process that starts with understanding your goals, current IT footprint and specific challenges.  We suggest and implement steps for taking your company where you need to go.  We use our standardized, education and proven processes to maximize your IT investment in technology and people.  Then we support your business with a unique process that yields results.  We align your IT footprint with your needs and goals.

Our Team

NittanyIT is comprised of unique individuals that have various backgrounds, educations, experiences and interest.... BUT we come together as a collective team that works together for each and every client, providing the best unified technology front.  

Our founding team member has been in the Central Pennsylvania area for most of his life and spent a few years in Pittsburgh where he worked for large companies that had large networks that spanned the globe.  He worked on projects for Johnson Controls, Advanced Technology Partners, Alcoa, Chase Manhattan Bank, BWI Airport, George Mason University, Martin's Airport, and more.  Our founder established the first Internet Service Provider (ISP) company in central Pennsylvania and provided services for over 8,500 customers and businesses at it's peak.  He also was asked to teach at South Hills Business school and CPI, filling in for technology instructors that left their positions.  Information Technology has been the desire and drive in his life.

Our Partnerships and Vendors

NittanyIT establishes partnerships with companies and vendors that align with our technology initiatives and innovations.  Not every vendor is a good fit and we at NittanyIT go through several levels of researching and testing products to make sure they fit with our clients goals.  Some vendors may offer the cheapest solutions, but these solutions may not provide the best solutions.
